Welcome to The Villages Computer Club
LATEST SPECIAL NOTICE
The Villages Computer Club’s goal is to help our members learn together by attendance at Club Meetings and help others to help themselves. We offer Presentations and Problem Solving sessions at each meeting. We will periodically have workshops for discussion within special interest groups to further peer-to-peer idea exchange.
Please see the Meetings & Presentations page for detailed information and weeks we will not meet due to either holidays or schedule conflicts with the facility.
Our meetings are open to Village Residents and Guests who have valid Villages-issued guest passes. Visitors (having a Villages ID or Guest Pass) are welcome and are entitled to one free meeting per calendar year.
The format of our regular meetings is as follows:
12:30 – 1:00 Help with problem solving questions
Our Gurus are at a table at the back of the room to take your questions before the meeting – you do not have to fill out a form. They will research your problem during the presentation and answer it after the break. We are trying this to better communicate and reduce the amount of extra questions during the answer process and give you better answers. So, if you have a computer question please bring it to the table at the back of the room between 12:30 and 1:00pm
1:00 – 1:10 Greeting and announcements
1:10 – 2:00 Presentation
2:00 – 2:15 Break for refreshments followed by 50:50 and door-prize drawings
2:15 – 3:00 Problem solving session
