The Villages Computer Club membership is open to any resident of "The Villages" community. Residency requires that the individual presents a valid Villages ID card issued by the Villages Center Community Development District.
Current membership requires that the individual pay an annual dues fee of $5.00 per person. Please be advised that renewals, as well as new member sign-ups, will be taken for year 2008 between the hours of 12 noon and 1:00 pm on Fridays. Please do not remove your 2007 bar code from your Village ID card.

Specifically, the VCC is organized to:

• Provide a forum for communicating ideas, resolving problems, and increasing the effectiveness of users of personal computers and their related software and peripherals.
• Help the community with computer solutions.
• Encourage the creation, modification, maintenance, duplication, and distribution of public domain software and shareware to the members of the organization.

Members are considered in good standing as long as they:

• Maintain their annual dues, remain a resident of the Villages
• Abide by a basic code of conduct considered socially acceptable by the current standards.
• No member may transfer for value, a membership, or any right arising from it.
• All rights cease at the member's resignation or death.
